SUMMARY:Scottish Rite and Shrine – One Day Reunion
DESCRIPTION:Scottish Rite-Shrine Unity Class\nOctober 19th is your first opportunity to participate in a Scottish Rite-Shrine one-day class in Maine in ten years. Master Masons may join both bodies at Kora Shrine in Lewiston. It’s a great opportunity to experience additional Scottish Rite degrees and expand your circle of friends and brothers. We urge Shriners to become members of the Rite, and members of the Rite to become Shriners.\nALL Shriners and Scottish Rite Masons are encouraged to attend their meetings on this day to welcome new members and join in a great day of camaraderie that only Masonic brothers can appreciate. Let’s pack the house!\nTo encourage Master Masons to join in this unity class, the Scottish Rite is offering a reduced application fee of $125 and, if you also join the Shrine, Kora will also charge only $125. Please contact the Kora Shrine office at 207-782-6831, jrknox@korashriners.org, for more information. The registration deadline is October 10th.\nReservations for the 4 pm dinner ($25) between the Scottish Rite degrees and the Shrine Ceremonial must be made with the Kora oƯice. (Email khansen@KoraShriners.org or visit www.KoraShriners.org.) Scottish Rite members need to make lunch reservations with the Portland Valley Secretary to help arrange for noontime meals during the singing woodsmen presentation of the 22nd degree.\nThe day’s schedule is:\n8:30 am – Registration and coffee.\n9:30 am – Scottish Rite degrees begin\n12:00 pm – 22nd Degree & complimentary lunch\n4:00 pm – Completion of Scottish Rite\n– Dinner (reservations required)\n5:30 pm – Shrine Ceremonial\nDegrees to be conferred:\n4th – Builder\n7th – Provost and Judge\n15th – Knight of the East\n22nd – Prince of Libanus (Singing Arrangement)\n32nd – Sublime Prince of the Royal Secret\nCandidates and sponsors may request applications from the Valley (Thomas Pulkkinen, 207-350-9525, TEPulkkinen@aol.com) or another member, or candidates may register on-line at https://scottishritenmj.org/membership-application.
